the studio was appointed through invited competition to completely refurbish 9 guest rooms for the club, located in the cci chambers wing. the approach has been to deliver a fresh design, but one that alludes to the club’s heritage and is respectful of a client reluctant to break with tradition. as ever, the studio’s affinity for detail and product design in customised furniture and floor and table lamps. deluxe + luxury rooms + suites will be fit out using materials such as leather, brass and solid wood, that recall old world hospitality and lend warmth to a firmly contemporary aesthetic.
